Snoutday - Terms of Use

Effective date: 7 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Snoutday Android app, published by BotSquash. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

Who can use Snoutday

Snoutday is for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use it with a parent or guardian's permission, especially before buying a subscription.

What the app does

Snoutday lets you record or import short clips of your pet and turns them into a vertical video. The app works on your device. Your clips and vlogs are stored on your device and are not uploaded by us.

Your content

• You keep all rights to the clips, photos and vlogs you make. We claim no ownership.
• You are responsible for what you record and share. Only use footage you have the right to use, and respect other people's privacy when they appear in a clip or can be heard.
• Do not use the app to make or share unlawful, hateful or harmful content.
• Free vlogs carry a small "made with Snoutday" mark. Please leave it in place unless you have Snoutday Pro.
• Because content stays on your phone, we cannot recover clips or vlogs you delete or lose. Save vlogs you care about to your gallery.

Free version and ads

The free version includes one pet and two templates, and shows an ad after you share or save a vlog. Ads are provided by a third party (Unity Ads); see the Privacy Policy. Ads are not shown in Snoutday Pro.

Snoutday Pro subscription

• What you get. Unlimited pets, all templates, exports without the Snoutday mark, weekly and monthly recap videos and no ads. Features may be added or adjusted over time.
• Plans. Monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app and on Google Play in your local currency before you buy.
• Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial on the yearly plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged to your Google Play account.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year at the then-current price until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Google Play account.
• Cancelling. Cancel at any time in Google Play: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Snoutday Pro and tap Cancel subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
• Restoring. Use "Restore purchases" in Settings after reinstalling or switching phones.

Reminders

Reminder notifications are optional, local to your phone, and can be turned off in the app or in Android settings.

Licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Snoutday on your Android devices. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it. Some parts of the app use open-source components and credited assets, listed in the app under Settings, Credits.

No warranty and limit of liability

Snoutday is provided "as is". Video export depends on your phone's hardware and Android version, so we cannot guarantee it works on every device or with every clip. To the extent the law allows, BotSquash is not liable for lost clips, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.

Changes and ending use

We may update these terms or the app. If we change these terms, the "Effective date" above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if the terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
