About the studio
BotSquash is Syed Roman, a one-person studio based in Cyprus. I make small Android apps, each built around one everyday job: a watering schedule, a bus trip, a row count, an exam date.
There are 16 apps on Google Play today, and a few more in testing.
How the apps are made
Offline first. What you enter is stored on your phone, not on a BotSquash server. 14 of the 16 apps are made to work offline.
No accounts. You open the app and use it. There is no sign-up screen between you and the job.
One job each. An app that does one thing well is easier to trust, easier to learn and easier to keep working.
Plain privacy. Every app has its own privacy policy that says what it stores and what it sends. They are linked from each app page.
