দর্জি খাতা is an offline tailor measurement, order, and ledger app for Bangladeshi tailors and boutiques, published by BotSquash. This policy explains how the app handles information. Short version: no account, no login, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDK of any kind. Every customer's name, phone number, address, photo, measurement, and order/payment record you enter stays on your own device — it is never uploaded to us, and we never see it.

দর্জি খাতা does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no account and no servers of its own. Customer records, measurements, orders, and photos are stored only in a local database and local files on your device.

Data we collect directly

The app has no account or login.
Customer records (name, phone, address, note), measurements, orders, payments, and any photos you attach are stored only on your own device. They are never uploaded to us and never leave your phone unless you choose to export a backup and share it yourself.
We do not see, receive, or store any of this data.
The app does not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
The app does not use the advertising ID and contains no ad network — there are no ads anywhere in দর্জি খাতা, free or paid.

Backup & restore

The app lets you export all your data as a single backup file (.dkb), which you can share via any app you choose (WhatsApp, Google Drive, email, etc.) or save to your device's storage. The app itself never uploads or transmits your backup anywhere — it only hands the file to whatever destination you pick via Android's own share sheet or file picker.

The backup file is not encrypted. It contains your customers' names, phone numbers, addresses, and (if included) photos in plain, readable form. Treat it like any other sensitive document — share it only through channels you trust, the same way you would a photo of a paper ledger page.

Restoring a backup replaces your current data after you confirm; the app automatically keeps a local safety copy of your prior data before doing so.

Photos

If you attach photos to an order, they are compressed and saved as files in the app's own private storage on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere and are only included in a backup if you choose the "include photos" option when exporting.

Permissions

Camera / photo picker: used only when you choose to attach a photo to an order. The app does not access your camera or gallery at any other time.
Notifications: used for the optional daily delivery reminder, entirely local to your device.
Phone / SMS intents: the call and SMS buttons on a customer's page open your phone's own Dialer or Messages app with the number/message pre-filled — দর্জি খাতা does not place calls or send messages itself, and never reads your call log, contacts, or message history.
The app does not use location, contacts, microphone, or any cross-app identifier.

In-app purchase

The one-time দর্জি প্রো unlock (unlimited customers, PDF export, reports, custom templates — one-time, $4.99 or your region's equivalent price) is sold and processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card or payment details. The app only stores a local flag on your device recording that the unlock is active.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children. It is a general-audience business tool for shop owners, not directed at or marketed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app means you accept the current policy.
