Studio Tab - Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Studio Tab is a studio manager for private music teachers. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: everything you enter stays on your device, and we never receive any of it. From version 1.1.0 the free version shows a small banner ad from Unity Ads; Studio Tab Pro subscribers see no ads.

What we collect

Nothing, ourselves. Studio Tab has no account system, no sign-in, and no server. We operate no backend that could receive your data, so none of it reaches us. The ad provider described under "Ads (free version only)" collects some data directly.

What the app stores on your device

The information you type in - students, instruments and levels, lesson schedules, attendance, payments, balances, practice logs, repertoire, events and notes - is saved in a private database on your device only. It is visible to you and to anyone with access to your unlocked phone. It is not uploaded anywhere, and it is never shared with the ad provider.

Files you create

When you export an invoice, receipt or backup, the file is written to your device and shared only if and where you choose to send it, using your phone's standard share sheet. Studio Tab does not transmit those files anywhere on its own.

Ads (free version only)

From version 1.1.0 the free version of Studio Tab shows one small banner ad from Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). It is never shown in full screen. Studio Tab Pro subscribers see no ads; once Google Play has confirmed your subscription, the ad SDK is not started.

In the free version, the Unity SDK may collect and process:

Unity may share this data with its ad partners, for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. This data goes to Unity, not to us. Your students, schedules, payments and notes are never shared with Unity. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.

Network access

Studio Tab's own features work fully offline. The app uses the internet for two things: loading the Unity Ads banner in the free version (see above), and the Google Play Billing flow that processes and verifies your Studio Tab Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) through Google Play. No student or business data is sent as part of either. Payment processing, renewal, and cancellation are handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your card details.

Analytics and tracking

Studio Tab contains no analytics or tracking of our own. The only third-party SDK that collects data is Unity Ads in the free version, as described above.

Children

Studio Tab is a business tool intended for music teachers, not for children. Teachers may of course record information about students who are minors; that information stays on the teacher's device under the terms above and is never transmitted to us or to Unity.

Deleting your data

Deleting a record removes it from the app. Uninstalling Studio Tab removes the entire database from your device. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf - and equally, uninstalling without a backup is permanent. For data held by Unity, reset your advertising ID as described above or contact Unity through its privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a revised date above.
