Focus Timer is an offline Pomodoro-style focus timer, published by BotSquash. This policy explains how the app handles information. Short version: no account, no login, no analytics SDK. Every focus session, tag, and setting you enter stays on your own device - it is never uploaded to us, and we never see it. The free version shows ads from Unity Ads; Pro has no ads.
None.
The free version shows ads from Unity Ads (Unity Technologies): a small banner on the History, Stats and Settings tabs (never on the timer) and, at most a few times a day, a full-screen ad right after a focus session finishes - never during one. No ads are shown the first time you use the app. The Unity SDK may collect your advertising ID, device and network information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data, and may share it with its ad partners, for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This data goes to Unity, not to us. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Focus Timer Pro lets you export your stats screen as an image and share it through Android's own share sheet (to whatever app you pick — Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, email, etc.). That image is generated and handed to the share sheet entirely on your device; Focus Timer itself never uploads it anywhere or sees where you send it.
The optional home-screen widget shows today's focused time and your current streak. It reads this from the same local database the app uses and does not transmit anything off your device.
Focus Timer Pro (a one-time unlock of stats sharing and no ads) is sold and processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card or payment details. The app only stores a local flag on your device recording that the unlock is active.
We collect no personal data from anyone, including children. It is a general-audience productivity tool, not directed at or marketed to children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app means you accept the current policy.
