Faraiz Calculator (ফারায়েজ ক্যালকুলেটর) is an offline Islamic inheritance calculator, published by BotSquash. This policy explains how the app handles your information. Short version: no account, no login, no ads, no analytics, no ad SDK of any kind.

Faraiz Calculator does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no account and no servers of its own. It requests Internet access only so the optional one-time unlock can be processed by Google Play Billing.

Data we collect directly

The app has no account or login.
The estate details, heir information, and any saved cases you enter are stored only on your own device. They are never uploaded to us and never leave your phone.
We do not see, receive, or store the inheritance calculations you run.
The app does not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
The app does not use the advertising ID and contains no ad network — there are no ads anywhere in Faraiz Calculator.

Permissions

Internet / network state: used solely by Google Play Billing to process the optional one-time unlock purchase. The calculator itself works fully offline — if you never open the unlock screen, the app makes no network requests at all.

The app does not use location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any cross-app identifier.

In-app purchases

The one-time unlock (PDF export + saved cases beyond the free limit, ~$1.99 / ~৳200) is sold and processed through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card or payment details. The app only stores a local flag on your device recording that the unlock is active.

PDF export

The PDF report is created and saved entirely on your device. Sharing it happens only when you tap Share and choose an app — the app itself does not upload the PDF anywhere.

Accuracy & scholarly review

This app performs Hanafi Faraiz calculations validated against a documented test suite, and flags edge cases (missing heirs, disputed situations, etc.) for you to consult a qualified scholar rather than showing a possibly-wrong number. The app is a calculation aid, not a fatwa — please confirm important decisions with a qualified alim.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children. It is a general-audience adult tool (inheritance/estate calculation), not directed at children.
