বাংলা ক্যালেন্ডার ও পঞ্জিকা is an offline Bangla/Gregorian/Hijri calendar, government holiday list, and date converter app, published by BotSquash. This policy explains how the app handles information. Short version: no account, no login, and nothing you enter is collected - all date computation happens on your device. The free version shows a small banner ad from Unity Ads; the one-time "remove ads" purchase removes it.

Data we collect directly

None.

• The app has no account or login and asks for no personal information — there are no customer records, notes, or user-entered data of any kind, unlike a diary or business app.
• All date math (Bangla, Gregorian, Hijri conversion) is computed entirely on your device. No date, holiday, or preference you view is ever transmitted anywhere.
• The app has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of its own. The only third-party SDK that collects data is Unity Ads, in the free version.

Ads (free version only)

From version 1.1.0 the free version shows one small banner ad from Unity Ads (Unity Technologies) above the tab bar on the Today, Month and Holidays screens - never on the Converter or Settings, and never in full screen. No ads are shown the first time you use the app. The Unity SDK may collect your advertising ID, device and network information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data, and may share it with its ad partners, for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This data goes to Unity, not to us. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. (Version 1.0.1 showed a Google AdMob banner; version 1.0.2 had no ads.)

• When the switch is off, the app asks Unity not to use your data to personalise ads. The switch is in Settings, Personalised ads, and stays off unless you turn it on.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Privacy, Ads).
• The one-time "remove ads" purchase removes the banner; once Google Play has confirmed your purchase, the ad SDK is not started.

Home screen widget

The optional home-screen widget shows today's date and the next holiday. It reads the same local settings (language, numeral style) and the built-in holiday list already stored in the app — nothing is fetched from the internet, and the widget does not run when you're not looking at your home screen beyond the operating system's normal update schedule.

Notifications

The optional daily notification (today's date and next-holiday countdown) is scheduled entirely on your device using Android's own notification system. No notification content is generated by or sent through any server — it is computed locally from the same date engine the rest of the app uses.

Permissions

• Notifications: used only for the optional daily digest, entirely local to your device.
• Internet: used by Google Play Billing and, in the free version, by Unity Ads. Your dates and settings are never sent anywhere.
• Advertising ID: used by Unity Ads in the free version only.
• The app does not use GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage beyond its own app-private preferences.

Hijri date disclosure

The Hijri (Islamic) date shown in this app is calculated using a standard tabular/mathematical method, not local moon-sighting observation. It may differ by roughly ±1 day from your local moon-sighting committee's announcement — this is disclosed in the app itself and is a calculation-accuracy note, not a data-privacy one.

Children

The app is a general-audience calendar/reference tool, not directed at or marketed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. The free version's Unity Ads banner is described under "Ads".

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app means you accept the current policy.
