বাংলা ক্যালেন্ডার ও পঞ্জিকা is an offline Bangla/Gregorian/Hijri calendar, government holiday list, and date converter app, published by BotSquash. This policy explains how the app handles information. Short version: no account, no login, and no personal data of any kind is entered into this app. All date computation happens on your device. The one exception is advertising: this version shows banner ads supplied by Google AdMob, which processes an advertising identifier — that is described in full below.
None.
To serve those ads, Google AdMob collects and processes data from your device, including:
This data is collected by and shared with Google for advertising purposes. It is governed by Google's own policies, not ours — see Google's Business Data Responsibility page and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We never receive your advertising ID or any ad interaction data ourselves; we receive only aggregate earnings figures.
Consent (EEA/UK): the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform. Before any ad SDK initialization it asks Google whether a consent message is required for your region, and where one is, it presents that certified message and does not initialize the ad SDK until your choice allows it. Where Google indicates that a privacy-options entry point is required, the app shows a Settings → Privacy options row so you can change or withdraw that choice later.
The app is a general-audience calendar and is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme.
The optional home-screen widget shows today's date and the next holiday. It reads the same local settings (language, numeral style) and the built-in holiday list already stored in the app — nothing is fetched from the internet, and the widget does not run when you're not looking at your home screen beyond the operating system's normal update schedule.
The optional daily notification (today's date and next-holiday countdown) is scheduled entirely on your device using Android's own notification system. No notification content is generated by or sent through any server — it is computed locally from the same date engine the rest of the app uses.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID):
declared by the AdMob SDK so it can request ads. See the Advertising section above.A one-time "remove ads" unlock (product id bangla_calendar_ads_removed) is built
into the app but is not offered for sale in this version — the product is not
yet available in Google Play, so no purchase option is shown anywhere in the app. If and when it
is enabled, it will be sold and processed entirely through Google Play Billing;
we would never see or store your card or payment details, and the app would store only a local
flag on your device recording that the unlock is active. While that flag is set the app does not
initialize the AdMob SDK at all, so no ad requests and no advertising-ID collection occur.
The Hijri (Islamic) date shown in this app is calculated using a standard tabular/mathematical method, not local moon-sighting observation. It may differ by roughly ±1 day from your local moon-sighting committee's announcement — this is disclosed in the app itself and is a calculation-accuracy note, not a data-privacy one.
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children. It is a general-audience calendar/reference tool, not directed at or marketed to children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the affected section will be rewritten to reflect what is actually collected at that time. Continued use of the app means you accept the current policy.
